What is a Saint?

We are all saints in the making….the path

If you read stories of some of the most celebrated saints you will find that most were just ordinary people like you and I.  Some saints were young, innocent and uneducated.  Some saints were young women who refused to live their life married but rather wanted to commit themselves to a life of serving the poor.  Some saints actually were not what we would look at as very good people.  Some were thieves, murderers, held hate and vengeance in their hearts.  Some saints didn’t know how to read or write.  Some were born to poverty and some were born to royalty.

So what makes a saint?  Having faith and trust in God and loving the Creator with all your mind, body, heart and soul.  It is this love that fuels your every thought, word, and action in your life.  This unconditional love that God has for you is shared with everyone you meet and it is living this life of love for God and one another that makes a saint.

Following the path of our Creators light and love is the only tool we need.  Love alchemizes everything.

We are all saints in the making……

With Love

What is Christ Consciousness Healing?

Have you ever wondered what Christ Consciousness energy healing is?

I have been an energy healer for several years and have always held a deep connection to God and the Trinity.  It really doesn’t matter what name you use; Holy Spirit, sacred spirit, source, creator, or God for we are all one in the same Spirit.

I have practiced several healing modalities in the past:  Karuna Reiki, Angelic Reiki and Theta Healing.  As I have walked this path as a healer it has led me directly to the source, Our Creator.  Daily I am in prayerful meditation with God and have experienced my spiritual gifts as an energy healer deepen and evolve into working directly with our Creator’s healing energy.

Through soulful prayer and the support of loved ones, I have found clarity in what I am called to do on this earth. I am a faith-based healer who works with Christ's Consciousness and honors all belief systems. I hold unconditional love and a sacred space for all those who need healing.  My practice is one of devotion to the healing energy of Christ Consciousness and to all those who seek my support in their life’s journey.

I am the bridge, the connection that reconnects you to your godself within, your soul.  This is a heart centered, soul to soul healing modality.  The Creator’s energy is intelligent, gentle and loving.  It works within and through all things within our energy field, our aura.  I am often asked if I work with chakras, energy bodies, meridians and the layers of the energy field.  The answer is yes, yes, yes and YES+++ The divine’s energy is wise, and knows precisely what is needed to bring about unity and oneness to the mind, heart, body, and soul.  This healing brings forth hope, peace, love and joy from within.

Now you may be wondering if you are not christian or of a faith practice if this is still for you. I want you to know YES! Even though I am a faith-based healer and Jesus is associated with Christianity, Jesus’ energy is here for all of us. My calling is to bring the energy from heaven and ground it here on earth. This healing energy is for plants, animals, and individuals in all stages of life. In other words, every living thing!

I am filled with so much gratitude for the spiritual gifts I have been given and the calling to heal others and support them on their life journey.

Shine Your Light

I have always found the parallel between celebrating the new year and celebrating the Feast of Epiphany fascinating.  On the one hand we begin the new year with the shedding of what no longer serves us and create intentions for the coming year.  It is with this hope that our year will be filled with a change for the better bringing peace, joy, health and prosperity to all that we do.  And then there is the feast of Epiphany (the first feast after Christmas), which is all about the manifestation of light.  In Greek, the phrase to shine upon, is Epiphanai, a word that literally enlightens all of God’s creation.

In the beginning God created heaven and earth. God said, “let their be light; and their was light”  Genesis

There are many holidays, feast days and festivals that incorporate light as a central theme and light is critical to our survival in so many ways.  There is also a fascination with the light. Gazing up at the stars in the night sky, watching the sunrise or sunset and ceremonies around the full moon.   Artists and photographers capture memories using all types of lighting.  Sunlight is critical to plant growth and the production of Vitamin D.  The light sustains our being and we are created in God’s light.

Personally I am fascinated with all aspects of light.  At the beginning of a new year light is of particular importance to me.  I love to etch out some quiet time to connect with the creator deep within my heart. Allowing his light to radiate through my being.  This inner light is the sacred light that is our soul.  The light of the sacred spirit, the Holy Spirit.  I take this time to center myself in prayers of the soul and meditate on what God sees for me in the coming year.  Our soul wants what will bring us peace, joy and love nothing less.  Connecting to our light within is where we find our deepest longings, our truth and our purpose.  Setting these intentions and following the path of light takes us closer to our calling.

There’s a place where your greatest joy intersects with the world’s greatest need — that is a calling. (Fr Michaels Sermon)

Sometimes I think we sabotage ourselves by thinking we are going to create this list of resolutions for the new year.  We start out strong but somehow fall short and then gradually leave them behind.  The intentions are created in good faith but sometimes I think we expect for things to happen quickly and easily.  These resolutions are created in the mind with little or no connection to our heart.  I know for myself I have repeated this pattern of thinking many times in the past.  But what if we changed the narrative a bit?  What if we deepened our focus to include a heart connection with our creator and focus on what he sees for us and just follow the light with a deep trust in God…….mystical things might just happen!

What if we began the year in deep meditation and soul prayer asking for God’s will for us in the new year?  His will for us is always the highest good and nothing less.  His love for us is unceasing and anything less than joy, peace and love is not part of what he sees for us.  What if we asked daily for his presence to guide us, to shine a light on our path and to walk with us.  Miracles both small and great may happen.  During the season of Epiphany not only does God’s light shine upon his creation but his light shines within us and through us.

In this new year my prayer for you is to take time every day to connect to your heart for in this space is where you will find God. Sit quietly with him asking only what his will is for you.  This is what will bring you your greatest joy and peace.  Allow his love to infuse all that you do.

Happy New Year

Barbara

The Meaning of Advent

The word 'advent' means ‘coming’.  Advent is a season of preparation and awaiting the celebration of the Birth of Jesus.  This event changed the way in which we as humans experienced God.  It was a gift that changed the way we viewed our world and how we interacted with one another.  It was the first time that through the Holy Spirit, the soul of God manifested itself in physical form on earth through the birth of His Son Jesus.

Archangel Gabriel, Messenger of God, announced to Mary that she was going to bear a son and His Name was to be called Jesus.  Mary was only a teenage girl at the time but her faith in God was so deeply a part of her that she said Yes.  Her betrothed Joseph said yes too!

This was a time in which the world needed HOPE more than ever. Peace of mind, body and soul and the need to learn truly what it means to love one another, to love everyone.

Jesus was born to a teenage girl and a carpenter in humble surroundings.  He came into this world lying in a manger in a stable in Bethlehem.  His message was to love one another as I loved you.  Simple yet a seemingly difficult thing to practice in todays times.  Living from the heart allows us to see one another through the loving eyes of God.  Loving everyone for we were all created from the same source, the light of God.

Family and Friend Advent Activity

Gather together on Sunday and light a candle each of the four Sundays during the Advent season.  The lighting of the candle is symbolic of Jesus bringing light into the world. After lighting the candle, silently or aloud say a prayer of gratitude for God, our Creator’s presence in your life and follow the theme for each week in Advent.

The first Sunday in Advent represents Hope

Talk about your hopes

The second Sunday in Advent represents Peace

Talk about peace and the things that bring peace to your heart and to your world

The third Sunday in Advent represents Love

Talk about love.  What it means to love and be loved by one another, living from the heart

The fourth Sunday in Advent represents Joy

Talk about joy.  What brings you joy and how you can share that joy with one another

My prayer for you this Advent season is to love one another, love everyone so as to bring peace, joy and love in your heart, in your community and the world.  Embrace the hope that Creator, our source of love and light remains within all of us.  Walk with Him in the light and share love and peace wherever your path leads you.

“For I am the light in you and you in me and with each other.”

Merry Christmas

Barbara

Healing Through the Heart

Do you feel discouraged, often wondering if life will ever get better and if you can find happiness again? Life can be challenging, even in the best of times! Is your stress level becoming unmanageable Do you feel like your foot is on the gas pedal at all times with little or no time to tap the brakes? Do you hold fear, anger or resentment in your heart but wish you held only love, peace and joy? I am here to support you in your healing journey.

When Christ was taking leave of His apostles and Mother Mary, His parting words were to love one another as I have loved you.

John 13:34

The heart has been an ever present theme woven into each of the paths I have chosen in this life.  I began my nursing profession working as a cardiac nurse supporting patients in healing their heart and in the past several years my heart has called me to become a faith based healer, healing through the heart.

There are so many words that come to mind when thinking about the heart:

heartfelt, heart warming, heart broken, heart wrenching, heartache, kind hearted, open hearted, heartless, big hearted, heart breaker, heart throb and sweetheart just to name a few.

Our heart, from an energetic perspective, emits the largest magnetic field of all our body organs….that alone is fascinating for a science nerd such as myself!  LOVE, as an emotion, holds a vibrational frequency of 500Hz, JOY 540Hz and PEACE 600Hz.  But did you know that Christ and His church resides in our heart?  It is through the heart that Christ is able to connect to our soul and provide guidance on our life’s path. Now that just makes my heart happy!

Our heart and soul long to be close to Christ but there are many things that can prevent His divine love from entering. When resentment, anger, fear and hatred are present love cannot exist. These emotions prevent unity with Christ.

So how do we rid ourselves of these negative thoughts and emotions?

The answer is forgiveness.

True forgiveness allows our hearts to open a pathway to love.  Freeing the heart allows for forgiveness to transform into love.

Forgiveness also frees us from the bonds that attach us to the pain and oftentimes the person who has hurt us.  When we hold resentment, anger, fear and hatred in our hearts towards another we have a never-ending attachment to them and to the pain.  Imagine the feeling of carrying that heavy burden around with you in your heart every day of every year.  No wonder love cannot enter into our heart space and our soul is at dis-ease within our body.

Forgiveness can be a challenging journey for sure but I can tell you from personal experience it is so worth it!  Jesus showed us many times what it means to forgive.  As a teacher He modeled for us what looking through the eyes of love and compassion can do for the process of forgiving another. His heart understood the imperfections of our human nature.  He forgave us and asked us to sin no more and loved us through it all.  We cannot truly unite with Christ without forgiveness. Love and compassion are the most powerful tools we possess in forgiving those who have hurt us.  Resentment, anger, fear and hatred are rendered powerless in the presence of love.

Sometimes forgiveness is easy and other times it can be a process of a changing of the mind and heart.  Be gentle with your heart through the process because on the other side of forgiveness is love and that is worth everything!

Love and compassion can bend all rules and the heart filled with love is where healing and new beginnings are born.  This is where the church resides, within our heart and connected to Christ.

This is God’s plan for us and every day I am filled with love and gratitude to bring Christ’s healing love to support others in their life’s journey. You can schedule a healing session with me here and see the healing results of Christ.

I am filled with so much gratitude for the spiritual gifts I have been given and the calling to heal others and support them on their life journey.  I am always in awe of the changes I see in my clients and every day I feel blessed!

Here is how you can work with me.

When we are in our head trying to figure things out fear has a way of taking control of our thought processes.  Fear does this to keep us safe but negative thoughts, self doubt and anxious feelings begin to creep in.  Things like……

I feel anxious all the time

I am afraid I will make a mistake

I don’t know what to do with my life

I am not smart enough

I am not strong enough

You get the picture right?  We have all been there.  Thinking with our head and not our heart sometimes can be counterproductive.  So it is here where you pull that simple little phrase out of your back pocket and “Drop in your Heart".  When we drop into our heart it is here where we find the answers and the true expression of our self and our soul.

Don’t allow fear to take hold and render you powerless and immobile. Give it a try and follow these steps:

STOP the negative thoughts

THANK fear for trying to keep you safe

PLACE your hands on your heart

BREATHE into your heart space

ASK yourself is this truly how I feel?

TRUST that together through meditation and prayer you and God will find the answers you are searching for.  Divine timing often is the key to flow.

So until the next time don’t forget to pull out your secret weapon and “Drop into your Heart”♥️

Welcome!

Hi, my name is Barbara, and welcome to my blog!  I thought the best place to begin is to introduce myself and share with you a little bit about how I became a faith-based healer. In my lifetime, faith and healing have manifested themselves in many forms beginning with my training as a registered nurse and over the years it has become a deep part of who I am.

For as long as I can remember, my faith and passion to help others have played an important role in my life.

The heart has always remained at the center of not only my personal path of healing but also in holding sacred space for my clients. The journey of healing myself through alternative methods has always closely aligned with my faith and trust in God. This has led me to fulfill my soul’s purpose which is a practice of devotion to the healing energy of Christ (Jesus) and to all those who seek my support in their life’s journey.

I began my training in energy work as a reiki practitioner but always through the lens of my faith.  I guess you could say I have always been a faith-based healer.  As my practice has unfolded I found myself primarily working with angelic energy.  The angels after all are a source of God’s divine energy.

Over time, through prayerful meditation, it was made clear to me that my soul’s calling is to work only with the healing energy of Christ (Jesus) the source of God, His only son. This does not mean that I place myself on the level of God or his son Jesus,  rather I am holding a sacred space for Jesus to come through for your healing.

So for those of you wondering what makes this type of healing different than other energy healing I thought I would take a moment to highlight a few differences from my personal experience.

As I have been working with Christ’s divine energy I notice that the energy actually comes through the back of my heart, into my hands as it connects with your body. All that is needed from you is to set your intention at the beginning and then you can let it go and allow the intelligence of the divine energy to come through and provide you with what you need.

The energy is wise and Christ (Jesus) knows exactly what is needed to bring about unity and oneness of your mind, heart, body, and soul.  I have been asked if the energy works with chakras, meridians, etc. The answer is really I am working with everything because Christ can go through and work in everything. He knows exactly what each person needs.

This healing energy is for plants, animals, and individuals in all stages of life.  In other words, every living thing!

Now you may be wondering if you're not Christian or of a faith practice if this is still for you.  I just want you to know absolutely YES!  Even though I am a faith-based healer and Jesus is associated with Christianity, Jesus’ energy is really here for all of us. My calling is to bring that energy from heaven and ground it here on earth.

My practice is filled with love, prayer, and devotion for Christ (Jesus) and my clients.  I am filled with so much gratitude for the spiritual gifts I have been given and the calling to heal others and support them on their life journey.  I am always in awe of the changes I see in my clients and every day I feel blessed!

Here is how you can work with me.
